If by chance you are here because of our ad in the 2007-2008 Wawasee Warrior Program we thank you for supporting Wawasee Athletics and for checking out our site here on the World Wide Web. And if you just happened here by chance we welcome you here also. We have been providing the cover graphics for the programs for a number of years now...changing the design every few years or so. This years design is a spin off of the 8' X 20' sign above the ticket booth at Warrior Field, by the way is in memory of the late Jay Peffley. For those who didn't know him... Jay rarely if ever missed a Wawasee football game since the first kickoff in 1968.

Our ad has featured a saying that was adapted from the 1993 movie Cool Runnings starring John Candy...based on the true story of the first Jamaican bobsled team trying to make it to the winter olympics.
It's that time of year again where high school sports are gearing up for a new season and one of the biggest sports programs we have here at Wawasee is of course...football. It's not only a new season but we have a new head coach...Tom Wogomon so be sure to welcome him into the community. Along with the new football season we will once again be doing our part with the 500 T-SHIRT program. This has always been a highlight for us as we are given the opportunity to venture out on the field with the team after the team picture is taken and not only get the Captain's pictures for the big sign on the back of the score board but also we get some candid shots of whoever we can find that is willing to pose for what very well could turn out to be the one picture that will be used for the front of the 500 design. It's never easy figuring this one out and we never know which player(s) to use we just take a bunch of random photos and then sort through them and decide which one picture might suit the situation best and then begin the designing of the shirt around that image...so...stand by as we begin the process.
Here's an example of some of the shots we took in an effort to get some reference for this year's 750 T-SHIRT design. Also just a note that when you sign on as one of the T-Shirt sponsors this year you'll receive a Warrior Card for free (a thank you of sorts from Butler Design Agency and the Wawasee Athletic office). Also you should know that the Warrior Cards are on sale right now by the football players and also they can be purchased at the athletic office for $10.00.
